2. உணர்வை அருளும் ஆவி (understanding) (புரிந்துகொள்ளுதல், மனதினால் உணரும் திறன்.)

ஓசியா 4:14

……உணர்வில்லாத ஜனங்கள் அதினால் சிக்குண்டு விழுவார்கள்.

விளக்கவுரை:

இன்று பல கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் தவறான பாதையில் செல்வதற்கு அறியாமையே காரணமாக இருக்கின்றது. கடவுளுடைய ஆவியைப் பற்றிய உணர்வு இல்லாததே இதற்குக் காரணம். மனிதனையும், இவ்வுலகையும் இருள் சூழ்ந்திருப்பதற்கும் இதுவே காரணமாக அமைகின்றது.

பிசாசானவனுடைய இச்சையின்படி செய்ய அவனால் பிடிபட்டிருக்கிற அவர்கள் மறுபடியும் மயக்கந்தெளிந்து அவன் கண்ணிக்கு நீங்கத்தக்கதாகவும், சாந்தமாய் அவர்களுக்கு உபதேசிக்கவேண்டும். (2 தீமோத்தேயு 2:26)

பெற்றோர்கள் தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்க்காக பல சிரமங்களை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள். இதை உணர்ந்த பிள்ளைகள், தங்கள் பெற்றோர்களின் கனவை நனவாக்க சிரமப்பட்டு உழைக்கின்றார்கள். சில குழந்தைகள் இதை உணராமல், தீய வழிகளில் சென்று, பெற்றோர்களுக்கு சொல்லொண்ணா துன்பத்தைக் கொடுத்துவிடுகிறார்கள்.

கடவுளை அறிந்துகொள்ள, அவர் இந்த உலகத்தைப் படைத்ததின் முக்கிய நோக்கத்தை நீங்கள் உணர வேண்டும். இவ்வுலகத்தை ஏவாள் கெடுத்தபொழுது, அதைச் சரிசெய்ய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தானே முன்வந்து, தன்னைக் கடினமானச் சாவுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார். சாத்தானின் (பாவத்தின்) அடிமைத்தனத்திலிருந்து நம்மை மீட்டார். இது, தன் படைப்பின் மீது, அவர் கொண்ட ஈடற்ற அன்பை வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றது. இதை மனிதன் உணர்ந்து கொண்டால், கடவுளின் உன்னத போதனைகளின்படி நடப்பான்.

ஆகையால், நீங்கள் மதியற்றவர்களாயிராமல், கர்த்தருடைய சித்தம் இன்னதென்று உணர்ந்துகொள்ளுங்கள். (எபேசியர் 5:17)

உம்முடைய கரங்கள் என்னை உண்டாக்கி, என்னை உருவாக்கிற்று; உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ள என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும்.

எனக்கு உணர்வைத் தாரும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உமது வேதத்தைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு, என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் அதைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்.

கர்த்தாவே, என் கூப்பிடுதல் உமது சந்நிதியில் வருவதாக; உமது வசனத்தின்படியே என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும். (சங்கீதம் 119: 73, 34, 169)

தேசத்திலே பஞ்சம் உண்டாகிறபோதும், கொள்ளைநோய் உண்டாகிறபோதும், வறட்சி, சாவி, வெட்டுக்கிளி, பச்சைக்கிளி உண்டாகிறபோதும், (சாவி என்றால், நெல் மற்றும் கோதுமை போன்றவற்றின் கதிர்கள், நீர் பற்றாக்குறையின் காரணமாக விளையாமல் போய்விடுதல், வெட்டுக்கிளிகள் (விட்டில்கள்) கூட்டம் கூட்டமாக வந்து பயிர்களை தின்றுவிடும், பச்சைக் கிளிகள் கூட்டம் கூட்டமாக வந்து, விளைந்த தானியங்களை தின்றுவிடும்) அவர்கள் சத்துருக்கள் தேசத்திலுள்ள பட்டணங்களை முற்றிகைபோடுகிறபோதும், யாதொரு வாதையாகிலும் யாதொரு வியாதியாகிலும் வருகிறபோதும்,

உம்முடைய ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் அனைவரிலும் எந்த மனுஷனானாலும் தன் இருதயத்தின் வாதையை உணர்ந்து, இந்த ஆலயத்துக்கு நேராகத் தன் கைகளை விரித்துச் செய்யும் சகல விண்ணப்பத்தையும், சகல வேண்டுதலையும்,

உம்முடைய வாசஸ்தலமாகிய பரலோகத்தில் இருக்கிற தேவரீர் கேட்டு மன்னித்து,

தேவரீர் எங்கள் பிதாக்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தேசத்தில் அவர்கள் உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் உமக்குப் பயப்படும்படிக்கு தேவரீர் ஒருவரே எல்லா மனுபுத்திரரின் இருதயத்தையும் அறிந்தவராதலால், நீர் அவனவன் இருதயத்தை அறிந்திருக்கிறபடியே, அவனவனுடைய வழிகளுக்குத்தக்கதாகச் செய்து, அவனவனுக்குப் பலன் அளிப்பீராக. (1 இராஜாக்கள் 8:37, 38, 39, 40)

அவர்கள் சிறைப்பட்டுப் போயிருக்கிற தேசத்திலே தங்களில் உணர்வடைந்து, மனந்திரும்பி: நாங்கள் பாவஞ்செய்து, அக்கிரமம்பண்ணி, துன்மார்க்கமாய் நடந்தோம் என்று தங்கள் சிறையிருப்பான தேசத்திலே உம்மை நோக்கி வேண்டுதல் செய்து,

தங்களைச் சிறைபிடித்துக் கொண்ட தங்கள் சத்துருக்களின் தேசத்திலே தங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் தங்கள் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் உம்மிடத்தில் திரும்பி, தேவரீர் தங்கள் பிதாக்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தங்கள் தேசத்திற்கும், தேவரீர் தெரிந்துகொண்ட இந்த நகரத்திற்கும், உம்முடைய நாமத்திற்கு நான் கட்டின இந்த ஆலயத்திற்கும் நேராக உம்மை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணும்போது,

உமது வாசஸ்தலமாகிய பரலோகத்தில் இருக்கிற தேவரீர் அவர்கள் விண்ணப்பத்தையும் வேண்டுதலையும் கேட்டு, அவர்கள் நியாயத்தை விசாரித்து,
உம்முடைய ஜனங்கள் உமக்கு விரோதமாய்ச் செய்த பாவத்தையும், அவர்கள் உம்முடைய கட்டளையை மீறிய அவர்கள் துரோகங்களையும் எல்லாம் மன்னித்து, அவர்களைச் சிறைபிடித்துக் கொண்டுபோகிறவர்கள் அவர்களுக்கு இரங்கத்தக்கதான இரக்கத்தை அவர்களுக்கு கிடைக்கப்பண்ணுவீராக. (1 இராஜாக்கள் 8:47, 48, 49, 50)

நான் உமது அடியேன்; உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளை நான் அறியும்படி என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும்.

உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளின் நீதி என்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்; என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும், அப்பொழுது நான் பிழைத்திருப்பேன்.

விளக்கவுரை: (சங்கீதம் 119: 125, 144)

கடவுள் இருக்கின்றார் என்பதற்கு, பழைய ஏற்பாட்டிலும், புதிய ஏற்பாட்டிலும் ஏராளமான சாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன. பாரவோன், இஸ்ராயேல் மக்களை, கொத்தடிமைகளாக நடத்தியதால், எல்லாம் வல்ல இறைவன், எகிப்து தேசத்தை பல வித கொடூரமான வாதைகளால் வாதித்தார்.

“அந்த ராத்திரியிலே நான் எகிப்துதேசமெங்கும் கடந்துபோய், எகிப்து தேசத்திலுள்ள மனிதர்முதல் மிருகஜீவன்கள்மட்டும், முதற்பேறாயிருக்கிறவைகளையெல்லாம் அதம்பண்ணி, எகிப்து தேவர்களின்மேல் நீதியைச் செலுத்துவேன்; நானே கர்த்தர்.” (யாத்திராகமம் 12:12)

பழைய ஏற்பாட்டில், கடவுள் தன் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் வாயிலாக கூறப்பட்ட, எல்லாத் தீர்க்கதரிசனங்களும் நிறைவேறியுள்ளன.

உதாரணத்திற்கு, ஏசாயாவில் எழுதப்பட்டபடியே, கன்னி மரியாளிடத்திலிருந்து இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பிறந்தார்.

“ஆதலால் ஆண்டவர் தாமே உங்களுக்கு ஒரு அடையாளத்தைக் கொடுப்பார்; இதோ, ஒரு கன்னிகை கர்ப்பவதியாகி ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெறுவாள், அவருக்கு இம்மானுவேல் என்று பேரிடுவாள்." (ஏசாயா 7:14)

மேலும், சங்கீதத்திலும், சக்கரியாவிலும் முன்னறிவிக்கப்பட்டபடியே, இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, தன் நண்பனால் முப்பது வெளிக்காசுகளுக்காக காட்டி கொடுக்கப்பட்டார்.

“என் பிராணசிநேகிதனும், நான் நம்பினவனும், என் அப்பம் புசித்தவனுமாகிய மனுஷனும், என்மேல் தன் குதிகாலைத் தூக்கினான்.” (சங்கீதம் 41:9)

உங்கள் பார்வைக்கு நன்றாய்க்கண்டால், என் கூலியைத் தாருங்கள்; இல்லாவிட்டால் இருக்கட்டும் என்று அவர்களோடே சொன்னேன்; அப்பொழுது எனக்குக் கூலியாக முப்பது வெள்ளிக்காசை நிறுத்தார்கள்.

கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: அதைக் குயவனிடத்தில் எறிந்துவிடு என்றார்; இதுவே நான் அவர்களால் மதிக்கப்பட்ட மேன்மையான மதிப்பு; நான் அந்த முப்பது வெள்ளிக்காசை எடுத்து அவைகளைக் குயவனுக்கென்று கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலே எறிந்துவிட்டேன். (சகரியா 11:12, 13)

மேலும், அவருடைய பாடுகள் எப்படி இருக்கும் என்பதை ஏசாயா முன்னறிவித்தார்.

நாமெல்லாரும் ஆடுகளைப்போல வழிதப்பித்திரிந்து, அவனவன் தன்தன் வழியிலே போனோம்; கர்த்தரோ நம்மெல்லாருடைய அக்கிரமத்தையும் அவர்மேல் விழப்பண்ணினார்.

அவர் நெருக்கப்பட்டும் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டும் இருந்தார், ஆனாலும் தம்முடைய வாயை அவர் திறக்கவில்லை; அடிக்கப்படும்படி கொண்டுபோகப்படுகிற ஒரு ஆட்டுக் குட்டியைப்போலவும், தன்னை மயிர்கத்தரிக்கிறவனுக்கு முன்பாகச் சத்தமிடாதிருக்கிற ஆட்டைப்போலவும், அவர் தம்முடைய வாயைத் திறவாதிருந்தார்.

இடுக்கணிலும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பிலுமிருந்து அவர் எடுக்கப்பட்டார்; அவருடைய வம்சத்தை யாரால் சொல்லி முடியும்; ஜீவனுள்ளோருடைய தேசத்திலிருந்து அறுப்புண்டு போனார்; என் ஜனத்தின் மீறுதலினிமித்தம் அவர் வாதிக்கப்பட்டார். (ஏசாயா 53:6, 7, 8)

இப்படிப்பட்ட சாட்சிகளின் மூலம் கடவுள் இருக்கின்றார் என்பதை நம்பி, நம்மை மீட்டுக்கொள்வார் என்பதை உணர்ந்து, அவர் வார்த்தைகளின் (கட்டளைகளின்) படி நடக்க கற்றுக்கொள்வோம்.

Hosea 4:14

…people that do not understand shall fall.

Commentary:

Many Christians cannot continue long in goodness but will quickly fall into the snares of the devil due to sheer ignorance.

Lack of understanding about the Spirit of God is the main cause for the great darkness that cover us and our world.

And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. (2 Timothy 2:26)
(Here recover means regain his senses.)

Parents love their children and willingly undergo more trouble and affliction for the improvement, progress and integral growth of their children. Few children who realize and understand the sufferings of their parents, reciprocate by putting all their effort to make their parent’s dream a reality. Some children, without understanding their parent’s determined attempt, will take a stand against their parents and become inventors of new forms of evil, disobedient and undutiful to parents.

To know God, you need to understand God's purpose in Creation. When it went wrong because of eve’s sin, Jesus willingly died on the cross, in a very painful way to rectify the wrong and redeem us from the slavery of Sin and Satan. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. If you understand God and love Jesus, you will obey His commandments.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. (Ephesians 5:17)

Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

Let my cry come near before thee, O Lord: give me understanding according to thy word. (Psalm 119:73, 34, 169)

If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be;

What prayer and supplication so ever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:

Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men)

That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers. (1 Kings 8:37, 38, 39, 40)

Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;

And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name:

Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause,

And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them: (1 Kings 8:47, 48, 49, 50)

I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.

The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.
(Psalm 119:125, 144)

Commentary:

There are ample evidences in the old and new testament which prove God’s existence. When Pharaoh enslaved Israelites, the Pharaoh and his whole household were struck by plagues as punishment from God until he let them free.

“On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord." (Exodus 12:12)

All prophecies in the Old Testament are fulfilled.

For example,

Birth of Christ through Mother Mary,

“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” (Isaiah 7:14)

Christ will be betrayed for money by his familiar friend,

“Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate bread with me, has lifted up his heel against me.” (Psalms 41:9)

And I said unto them, if ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.

And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was priced at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord. (Zakariya 11:12, 13)

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
(Isaiah 53:6, 7, 8)

Since all the prophecies are fulfilled, trust God that He exist, understand that He will redeem us and learn to obey His words (commandments).
