சுயத்திற்கு மரித்தல்

ஒளி எவருக்கும் புலப்படாத இடத்தில் இருந்து வருகின்றது. அது ஒன்றும் இல்லாமை என்ற இடத்திலிருந்து துவங்குகின்றது. அந்த ஒளி “நான்” என்ற ஆணவம் இல்லாமல் இருக்கின்றது. அந்த ஒளியோடு இணைய வேண்டுமென்றால், நம்முடைய தனித்தன்மை (ஆளுமை, திறமை), பெயர், நம் வரலாற்றில் உள்ள நினைவுகள் (குலப்பெருமைகள்), “நான்” என்ற எண்ணம் (ஆணவம்) எல்லாம் மறைய வேண்டும். (யாரிடமிருந்தும் மரியாதையை எதிர்பார்க்கக்கூடாது). இது ஒரு உளவியல் (சிந்தனை) மரணம். இப்படிப்பட்ட விசித்திரமான மரணம் நம் எண்ணத்திலிருந்து வரவேண்டும்.
இதைத்தான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, தன் தாழ்ச்சியின் மூலம் எண்பித்து காட்டினார். இந்த உளவியல் மரணம் உங்களிடத்தில் இல்லாவிட்டால் உயிர்தெழுதல் இல்லை.

யோவான் 12:24

மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன், கோதுமை மணியானது நிலத்தில் விழுந்து சாகாவிட்டால் தனித்திருக்கும், செத்ததேயாகில் மிகுந்த பலனைக்கொடுக்கும்.

ஒளியானது உலகத்திலே வந்திருந்தும் மனுஷருடைய கிரியைகள் பொல்லாதவைகளாயிருக்கிறபடியினால் அவர்கள் ஒளியைப்பார்க்கிலும் இருளை விரும்புகிறதே அந்த ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்புக்குக் காரணமாயிருக்கிறது.

Light starts from the unknowable place, its root is emptiness and its state of existence which is beyond any “I” and ego. In order to merge with that light, one must become that light. The personality, our name, our history, our memories, everything that we conceive of as “me, myself,” must die. We must pass through a mystical death, a psychological death.

This is what Christ taught us. There can be no resurrection without death.

John 12:24

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

John 3:19

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
